On the May 19, the 2019 Shanghai Science and technology award conference was held in the central hall of Shanghai Exhibition Center to solemnly commend the scientific and technological workers who have made outstanding contributions to the cause of science and technology innovation and economic and social development of Shanghai.   

Prof. Wu Jian

The first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award (Natural Science Award) was awarded for the project of "precise measurement and control of ultrafast molecular behavior" led by Professor Wu Jian, State Key Laboratory of precision spectroscopy science and technology.

The Shanghai Science and Technology Awardsis established by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in order to reward individual and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in the scientific and technological progress of Shanghai. The 2019 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards honored in total 308 scientigic breakthroughs and researchers.
