报告人简介:

    纪鹏,复旦大学类脑研究院青年研究员,博士生导师,于2015年获得德国柏林洪堡大学理论物理博士学位,师从Jurgen Kurths教授,之后在德国波茨坦气候影响研究所工作,2017年正式加入到复旦大学类脑研究院工作。目前从事的研究方向为复杂网络非线性动力学,医学影像分析等。以第一或通讯发表在Physics Reports、Physical Review Letters等期刊上。

报告内容简介:

    Innetworked systems, a local perturbation can propagate by following paths alongthe network of interactions between the system's units. Such behaviour can lead to a large-scale cascade ofinteraction failures. We adapt a classical load-redistribution model and basedon brain networks that have been investigated with diffusion MRI, conduct ananalysis of the vulnerability and cosusceptibility of the corresponding brainnetworks. We find a group of nodes that can, potentially, fail simultaneously.The cascade model advances our understanding of linked failures in brainnetworks, and our results provide new insights in understanding diseaseprogression in, e.g., Dementia.
